Raised as the Golden Boy neighbour.

Lucas grew up on scripture and a family that kept the lights low to hide the unpaid bills. The day he turned 18 everything came falling down and suddenly his guarantee to go to college has to be paid by his own savings and labour. What can a boy that only knows scripture do to earn money?

«Life is still. Dust on the window sill. I’m growing up I guess…»

A photograph on a phone screen

The number on the pew promised cash.

A man, sitting in the park at the other side of the road sent him an image that made him go “Oh, shit…” Outside the church. A sunny day. The image burned to his retinas as it covered his screen, with a simple request.

«The sight of that thing I can’t touch hum there just out of reach»

A story told three ways.

No path is locked. Your corruption can rise or fall, and the story bends with it.
I.

Child of God

Keep praying. Succumb to God. Confess and let the teachings help him on track, the warmth of the deaconess will keep him safe and the priest will fill him with Holy. He must be pure, and so must everyone else.

II.

Happenstances

It's just a photo. He keeps away, meeting someone that slowly replaces his need for church as well as keeping his mind from what he deems impure. Maybe the past will catch up with him, but life's never that exciting... Right?

III.

Highway to Hell

No, he won't do it! There must be better ways to earn money! A man using his hands to earn a living is the true way to go. Clients will come and go, and sometimes they even come twice, or they will refuse his hands and steal his heart instead.

«I feel it under my skin, every “don’t” tastes like “give in”»

Was it always coming, or did one lewd photograph open his mind to his true self?

Will he stay the little good boy, or succumb to be a toy?

«I’m scared how much I care»

«It all feels so good when I succumb to Holy Corruption»
